Review of our April BabbaBox, Backyard Birds

SO many people are new to the hype and fun of the box subscription world including me! ( Now I am addicted) I want to try so many and review them.  I subscribed to BabbaBox for my 3 year old daughter and we received her box last week. We ate lunch and impatiently awaited tearing into it.

Once opened we had a card on top that welcomed us to the BabbaBox and told us this month's theme which is Backyard Birds. We got a welcome gift inside which was a pair of scissors that we will be needing while doing the many activities in our upcoming boxes. I thought that was a nice touch and my little girl loved getting her own "safety scissors". She is always in awe of  her big sister and big brothers (she wants to do everything like them) and now she has her own!! Awesome.

This months box included two "create" projects which is a Birdhouse and a birds nest. The "explore" item was a bird family. The "story tell"  was Feathers for Lunch and the "Connect" app was Learning Birds. We were a little disappointed to find out we could not get this on our Android. Right now the apps are only compatible on the Ipad and Iphone. I contacted them about this and they got back with me quickly and said they are working on making these apps compatible for Android.

 We loved this box and looking forward to the ones to come. What a great way to Create, Explore and Connect with your little ones! By far my favorite perk of this box is getting a book to add to our home library each month plus seeing the smile on my daughters face when she gets her own special mail is priceless not to mention the time we spend doing these projects together.( Run on sentence, I know but LOVE it all;) You are guaranteed to receive a book every month when subscribed to the premium box.
